Medical Images
The software supports all modality formats including CT, CR, DR, DS, NM, MR, OR, OT, US, RG, and XR.

Image Quality
Digitization is the best form of duplication available. However, it cannot improve an image’s readability if a poor original film was submitted.

Requirements
The software runs on any Pentium class PC with 96 MB of RAM, 4 GB of hard drive space, and is compatible only with the following operating systems: Windows 98, ME, NT, XP or Windows 2000.

Monitor Setting
Required settings are 256 Colors, True Color (32 Bit). To change, go to Control Panel, Settings, and Displays on your computer.

Image Export
Images can be exported into JPEG or TIFF formats, after which they can be emailed or moved into other applications, such as Power Point.

Sending Images
One image, converted to JPEG, can be emailed at a time. Depending on the resolution, approximately 15-40 images (sheets of film) are stored on one CD.

Printing
The graphic interface allows for printing images.

Resolution
We scan mammograms at the high resolution of 570 dots per inch (dpi) and other images at 300 dpi. An image requiring less resolution, such as a bone scan, will be scanned at 150 dpi.

CD labeling
The client name, healthcare facility and date are printed directly on the CD.

Support
The one-page Quick Start Guide is included with your CD(s). A comprehensive help manual is attached to each CD (click Help on the top toolbar) in Adobe PDF format.
